because we had Tyler Russell

Nobody could have seen him being this good obviously- but it is fun to look back in retrospect

I think he is the best QB I've seen in college football in my lifetime. He is what Tebow wishes he could have been. It's unreal.

I'm mad as hell his father is a piece of ****- but Cam seems to have an awesome personality and is a helluva football player. It really sux to not to be able to enjoy the season he had.

I'm not trying to slam Mullen, but Malzahn's offense is pretty damn good, and Cam just makes it that much better. Its a perfect match. I don't really know if Tebow would have run Malzan's offense as well as Cam, but I do know Cam would not have put up these kinds of numbers running Mullen's offense.

Watching Cam is like watching Herschel Walker used to be. Every single play you thought you might see something awesome.

and even after- there were people saying we didnt need him or he didnt really look that good. I'm not saying it was the majority opinion, but it wasnt one person either.

I figured he was probably better than Relf and Russell, but I certainly didn't realize just how much better he was. I figured it wasn't worth all the baggage we would get just to have an upgrade at QB.

Plus, if Cam had signed with MSU, he probably would have been suspended for a few games thanks to Cecil and Kenny Rogers.

Cam is great, but he wouldn't be putting up these numbers in a pro set, and as I posted I don't think he would put up these numbers in Mullen's offense, either.

With all the criticism of Tebow last season, everyone seems to have forgotten what a great athlete he really is. Strong arm, too. I don't think Cam's skills are that much better than Tebow's, and I would love to be able to see Tebow in an offense like this.

that Cam never committed to us or signed a letter of intent to MSU. Period. Everything is is a part of your delusional wet dreams. He is an awesome QB, but never did anything to help MSU win one damn game. Tyler committed to MSU, helped recruit the class that put us at 8-4 this year, has been a team player, and wears Maroon and White. Cam Newton never did any of this. That was the whole point of discussions on Tyler. He is here. He is a team player and wants this team to win. Cam did not. Yet, ******** like you can only find ways to degrade him. Go ahead Dawgstudent and remove this comment for violating some rule--it's the damn truth.

Did say he didn't look that good in the JuCo championship game. Thought he wasn't a very good passer. He's a MUCH better runner than I thought he was, though, and a better passer, too. So, guess what? I WAS WRONG.

You should try saying that out sometime. Might do you some good.

Cam could do those things in any almost any system.

He goes to Blinn JC, and wins a NC. (1st year)
Then goes to Auburn and is now playing for the BCS NC.(1st yr.)

Look, this guy does things by instinct and natural ability,like I said you can't teach what he does.

Maybe it's just me, but I really have faith in Tyler Russell. I've been saying it since this whole thing started... Who knows, it might continue next year as another two qb system-whatever works. But one things for sure, if Newton comes out and is even average, we will forget about him pretty quick. Unless he's a stud, I don't think we'll miss him next year- MSU4life07
