He was horrid tonight and a big reason why the team couldn't even break 50 points tonight.
He sucks. He is so inconsistent its disjusting. He was horrid tonight and a big reason why the team couldn't even break 50 points tonight.
It truly is insane, he’s an important piece to our success.
Have an off night, it’s understandable if you struggle a bit….every player does.
But you can’t look like you’ve never played the game before and be non functional.
How does that happen in such a tremendous atmosphere and important game
Kid is atrocious in 50% of the gamesWhen Hyatt is bad, he's really bad. He has to find a way to contribute something on off nights
Agreed. What has either contributed recently? Paul's last good half was against Spartans.disagree... Mulcahy, and more so McConnell’s turnovers hurt the team more than Hyatt’s goose egg. And Mulcahy didnt defend, giving #15 multiple open 3s.

That's too much. Andre bleeds Scarlet. He has done far more for RU than pretty much anyone recently. Guy's not even a regular starter.Hyatt looked like he was throwing the game
I'm not saying he did I'm saying it looked like it. He was missing his shots by THAT muchThat's too much. Andre bleeds Scarlet. He has done far more for RU than pretty much anyone recently. Guy's not even a regular starter.
He refused to take a shot after that and was kind of useless. Noone stepped upHyatt in pre game was hitting trey after trey. Then the lights came on. Those first 2 shots he took were atrocious. Then 2 missed FTs. Friends said he was pouting and then maybe frozen out. I did not notice either. I did notice we needed Hyatt and he was MIA.
Disagree/AgreeHe sucks. He is so inconsistent its disjusting.
He should have stayed home. As an athlete you NEED to show up every game . I dont know how someone can get on that court and look like he did last night. He was horrid tonight and a big reason why the team couldn't even break 50 points tonight.
It's really amazing how deep this team looked to start the season with just a healthy Mag.Also while I will (and have) vehemently disagree with Mag being worth 10+ points on an average day.. Mag does also help cushion your variance. If Hyatt is completely off, you play Mag for 35 minutes.. Now you either have to ride Hyatt and hope for the best or switch to Rieber/Palmquist/Simpson/etc. Simpson, I still think has potential to be a solid rotation guy but he is not there yet. Rieber and Palmquist are just simply not good players at this level.
Mulcahy and Caleb at least had some positive plays last night. Hyatt gave us nothingdisagree... Mulcahy, and more so McConnell’s turnovers hurt the team more than Hyatt’s goose egg. And Mulcahy didnt defend, giving #15 multiple open 3s.
The problem is that Hyatt was one of the few players on the team that showed a pulse on offense in recent games.Poor recruiting has caught up wiith Rutgers as the season has progressed and the mediocre offense has been exposed.Defense keeps teams in games but offense wins games.Scoring 45 points in front of a sellout crowd is unacceptable because Rutgers had a more experienced team than Michigan but still has a mediocre offense.Hyatt horrible and people still saying Mag doesn't matter. Pike could have glued Hyatt to the bench and rolled with Mag
Hyatt was really really bad tonight. Acting like that didn't matter bc we missed FTs is silly

or convert points off TO's...RU got a TO and didn't know what to do with itIf we even shoot 65% on FT’s it’s a different game
Im not sure anyone is saying losing Mag “doesn’t matter”…
But losing Mag isn’t the reason we’re struggling right now
We played Indiana in their place down to wire in a high level basketball game. We led Illinois at their place for a half. This team is still capable of high level basketball yet laying eggs at its vaunted home arena
