Mullen is the coach he would most like to suit up and play for. Somebody send that man a chrome cowbell!

They were all tweeting (Yes, I follow a lot of our players on Twitter. You can get some good information that way. It doesn't hurt that Banks and Griffin are pretty damn funny.) about how Mullen had faith in them and they liked his confidence.

A lot of "Coach Mullen talking that ****" kind of tweets. It was pretty amusing. They seemed very aware of the stuff being thrown back at Mullen, because several players were talking about how "if they talking about us, we doing something right."

I think this is the biggest difference Mullen has made in the program. He makes some bone-headed in-game decisions, but he is confident and it rubs off on our players and fans. Unlike Croom, they know Mullen will actually go to bat for them.

I had an opportunity to spend some time with both he and Megan recently and came away very impressed. If we can keep this staff
intact for a few more years it is going to be amazing.

1. Duron Carter will have a special year for Alabama [he said this yesterday].
2. "There are only 5 quarterbacks in the NFL that throw the ball better than [former Texas A&M quarterback] Ryan Tannehill."
3. "SEC defenses are simply not prepared for offenses like Texas A&M's and Missouri's. SEC defensive coordinators better get ready to start playing pass defense for a change."

I am of the belief in SEC football....if you don't already think your going to win then your probably not. Same line of thinking with National championship talk...if you don't think you can do it then you can't. If you can win the SEC west then you would be in the national championship hunt. We live on a rough block with lots of bullies, either get busyfightingor assume the fetal position.

On ware's other comments
1. Duron Carter will have a special year for Alabama [he said this yesterday]. No idea, don't care
2. "There are only 5 quarterbacks in the NFL that throw the ball better than [former Texas A&M quarterback] Ryan Tannehill." Not buying that
3. "SEC defenses are simply not prepared for offenses like Texas A&M's and Missouri's. SEC defensive coordinators better get ready to start playing pass defense for a change." was arkansas not a proven pass offense with Mallett and Wilson. You mean theTexas A&M that played Arkansas and gave up 503 passing yards to wilson? Missouri who?

So maybe ware's credibility is a bit questionable. I like others believe a&m and mizzou will struggle with depth and lose alot in the 4rth qtr. They may squeeze a few out by the hair on their ***.

Ware lost credibility with me on the Tannehill comment. I think he is under estimating an average SEC dline and pass rushing. Even Spurrier commits to the run now a days. And he's as pass happy as it gets. You can't allow these talented pass rushers to go sprinting after the QB every play. Arkansas threw the ball more than anyone in the SEC but they're still running the ball a decent amount. Kniles Davis put up great numbers in 10. As a result of throwing the ball as much as they did, Tyler Wilson got lit the 17 up a good bit. I didn't watch every game but I saw enough to know TWilson is a tough sob. In 2010 Ark very talented veteran lead Oline so Mallet was protected well. I believe Missouri and Texas&ms offensive coordinators better get ready.
