Is it just me or alot of Andrea Kremer's interviews before and after events simply awful?After the women's gymnastics, she's interviewing the girl that got into the all-around while her teammate is crying in the near background. Can't you pull her aside? At the aquatic center, she asks if they "...tried their best?" What do you expect them to say? At least think of an intelligent question to ask before the interview...

I noticed that too. I think she asked the gymnast girl if she ever dreamed she would qualify for the all around. I mean, what kind of answer do you expect? It' the Olympics... "no, I've only been training my whole life for this moment but never believed I could do it."

i understand they hold semi-rock star status within the olympics, but after they just swam a 400 m breast stroke, they need a couple of more minutes to catch their breath so as to not be a heavy breather interview.
i just wish there was an option in prime time though. i don't want to see the gym-nasties, and this single coverage bit kills it for me. maybe i should just dvr the canoe kayak stuff that goes on during the day.
