Wait until Arkansas fans get to see Cal laughing it up in the green room at the draft. That's when it'll hit them that UK fans weren't kidding when they saud Cal coaches for the draft, not winning college basketball games.

I watched the whole game. Arkansas played hard imo but they really lack shooters. Offense is archaic. Z played more this game than he has in quite a while and played pretty well.

This version of Davis is not what they payed for. Wagner playing way too many mins off the ball. Fland is the only frosh difference maker. Therio is much better this year and very physical, but if he’s your bell cow then you have issues.

And lastly, perhaps the worst bench coaching wise in any major conference. From Cal, Kenny, Chin, Chuck, Bruiser and Brad. I don’t see much going on good there. That’s a bunch of yes men and nothing more.

Even the SEC analysts at halftime were talking about how they have no idea what Arkansas is doing, or what their identity is.

The talent on the team is swimming against the tide, they would look great in a system that didn't rely on polished streetball.

I really with we were able to keep Thiero.

But yeah, they can't shoot and they take so many dumb step back fade away shots and they don't care about the situation, or the time on the vlock. You can get those shots at any time.

Adou would fill a need for us for certain.

If he did this in Kentucky it would have gotten very very ugly for him and his family .
Could you imagine this **** show this year. I honestly think he knew how bad it could get and didn’t want that to happen here. Probably the smartest decision he made in a long time.

I’m glad we didn’t have to find out .

Big Z had us yelling free Big Z last year and I bet he wished he freed himself from Cal at this point . Although I do think we overrated him on this board
He was definitely overhyped but then again there was no film on him in college. He made some flashy passes and can hit the 3 some but damn I’m not sure who has worse defense Z or Williams.

That's what Fox said in an interview about Calipari. He said Calipari didn't give a damn about winning college basketball games.

He's a grifter

He was acting like Arkansas won the title. Probably in therapy now.

Yeah, but anyone watching that game with a brain knew that both teams looked extremely flawed, and Kansas was missing 2 or 3 starters. I remember saying this exact same **** during the game in a game thread on here, live.

Theiro on Kentucky would be great because he's a good defender.

From a fanbase that didnt want him anymore to a fanbase that never really wanted him in the first place. At least he's making millions
The game has really changed since he came to UK. Unless you get a Cooper Flagg or AD talent that is a once every five year guy they can't lead you to the title by themselves. NIL and 24 year olds playing against teenagers has changed it all. Cal is done.

Thiero was the only starter in double figures. Yikes!

Cal’s team playing a game at Mizzou was usually a tough ride.

Yeah, I posted that link in another thread yesterday.
The weirdest part about that is Cal tries to act like he wants to win games when he's in interviews, but he obviously tells his players sometjing different.

I'm definitely not making excuses for Cal here, heck, I love seeing him eat **** more than any other UK fan out there, but, they have played a really tough schedule up to this point.

Everyone thought Ole Miss was a bad loss, but it turns out, Ole Miss might be top 5 in the SEC. They lost @ Tennessee, who is a projected 1 seed , Florida, who is a projected 2, @ Mizzou, who just won @ Florida and @ LSU, gave aTm all they wanted last night, with Wade Taylor in College Station.

But, the entire SEC is a gauntlet. If they can get South Carolina at home, maybe they can get a win, but you aren't beating anyone in this league playing street ball and focusing on anything but winning.

So I've always hated these threads about the failures of our ex coaches.....until now. The way Cal demeaned our fan base was just disgusting I watched the Ark/Mizzou game last night and it's astonishing how bad-and poorly coached-Arkansas is. Z and Wagner look as bad as they did last year, and there's not a whiff of any kind of organized game plan on offense or defense. It's possible they won't win a game in the SEC this year. It was so bad, I almost felt sorry for Cal. Almost.

Sounds like Fland is dealing with a hand issue, Cal hinted he could be out for a bit.

Well, if that's the case, they'll have one less guy that settles for step back fade away jumpers with 15 on the shot clock.

But, they're also losing their best scorer, if he actually does sit.

I have watched every game of theirs this year. Your assessment is pretty spot on.

1. They CAN NOT SHOOT
2. Do not run an offense, literally, NO OFFENSE
3. Their coaching (if you even want to call it that) is abysmal

I am a huge Cal fan, but I am extremely grateful to have Mark Pope coaching our team instead of the absolute **** show he has put together in Arkansas :)

Yeah we were so desperate to get a big man that just wasn’t all athleticism or just back to the basket so us hyping him up was understandable. Plus his debut was incredible.

But he seems soft . It doesn’t help that Cal doesn’t utilize him much still . I’ll be shocked if he returns to Arkansas next year .

Bwahahaha. So, Calipari can’t beat ANYONE in the SEC with Wagner, Fland, Davis, Theiro, Aidoo, Big Z, Knox, etc., but he would have beaten Alabama today?

A least you’ve once and for all outed yourself.
Your reading comprehension is worse than mine in kindergarten. That's not what I said. And everyone liking it is just as dumb.

Their OOC was a joke. Their SEC schedule is hard just like everyone's. Their SOS is #35, ours is #9.

Oh, I agree, but 4 of their 5 SEC opponents are upper tier SEC teams.

When I saw how tough the SEC was through the non conference games, I knew Arkansas was in deep trouble.

If the SEC was what it was last year, Cal would be able to hide a little bit, but once he decided to replace Welsh with Brad, he sealed his fate this year.

After this season is over, he should beg Welsh to come back to his staff.

He won't do it, because he doesn't care about winning, he only wants yes-men and he thinks these issues are not his fault.

I guess wearing a blue blazer didn't help the mojo.
I noticed he ditched that jacket for press conference, he had on a black jacket that was too small so I am thinking someone said Cal yo don't need to go to press conference wearing blue!

The guys on their hogs nation podcast were pissed about the jacket, bit also brought up the blue framed glasses a couple of the assistants were wearing. 😂

After hearing Cal’s postgame, sounds like Boogie has been playing with a bad hand and might shut it down for a while. Hell, that could mean he is shut down until the NBA Draft. Sounds like he is getting his excuses lined up (9 players, injuries, not practicing, not getting through to the players)
Same old excuses we heard for years when he was here at UK.
