I am NOT a season ticket holder, NOT a loyalty foundation member, NOT an Ole Miss fan.... and I was sent 2 tickets in the mail for the spring game.

I assume it is because I have bought baseball tickets through the school a number of times AND I live in Oxford so more likely a chance local people would come. I gave the tickets to my neighbor but I think I still have the flyer that was with it and will scan it in for you when I get back from Starkville.

...so, why didn't you get yours? Does someone else buy your tickets for you? Do you belong to the alumni association or UMAA? Otherwise, you're pretty stupid for paying ten bucks a ticket for something that should've been free to you.

Everybody there paid $10 a ticket. All of the money goes into the scholarship fund.... same as it has every year.

It's really amusing all the things you routinely just make up out of the air on this board.
Part of the reason I occasionally visit this board is to read your comments. They're hilarious!!

You should drop by and post stupid **** more often.

I was just relating what some people I know have said. I don't think you can really say that having a series on campus during the weekend could do anything but help spring game attendance. Either way, it is just a spring game, attendance is not really indicative of anything one way or the other.

Lewis's point still stands. I did actually end up going to our spring game, but it was only because a friend of mine really wanted to go and asked me at the last minute. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone unless there was a home baseball series going on.

The combination of activities leads to more people on the campus and more people at the events. For some reason though we did ours this year on the weekend of a road baseball series. We still had a decent turnout for a scrimmage even though they did very little to try to make the game appealing, playing 8 minute quarters and having the starters play the scout team.

The players HAVE to feel that energy and want to win for the fans. I feel like I have woken up from a terrible dream. Was Croom REALLY our coach for FIVE years?? Really? Those pics are making me feel really shaggy about our football future.
