I think someone else mentioned this a week ago or more but is everyone getting this? I’m using an IPad and have never had to deal with this until a week ago or so. I get it when opening any thread. Or is there away to deal with this w/o turning on ads?

Yeah it's still around for me, every time I go back to the page that lists all the threads it pops up.

“Experience everything On3 has to offer" yeah including the Pop Up Ads every time you go to the 6 Pack Main Page!

I typically use Opera and it doesn't stop it but Brave does so I've started using it

It's probably going to decrease board traffic, but I suppose those of us using an ad-blocker don't contribute much to the board, if any, anyway.

DS said in original post that they had been notified and were working on it....
I doubt they're working on removing it since they're the ones who installed it (not DS, but the ON3 folks). I think he just said he'd tell them.

Love SPS but nobody, and I mean nobody, gets exempt from the Adblocker. If ads were happy to contain themselves to little ignorable banners that would be one thing, but they all insist on being obnoxious, blocking large sections of the screen, launching new windows, and being all around turdly.

They’re obviously not going to fix it. If they were, it would have been fixed by now.

Are you purposely running an ad blocker or your work installs one enterprise wide? What happens when you click allow ads?
It's work installed but I think I just took care of it. A co-worker has log in credentials to our system and he logged in and exempted this site (supposedly we can exempt 1 site at a time) and I'm not seeing that popup anymore.

But, now I've got 2 T-Mobile ads playing in the right margin, an Ulta make up ad at the bottom, 2 of "The Athletic" also in the right margin and a Vanguard Mutual Fund one, but I don't have to stop every time and click on the "continue w/out disabling" button so "that's a big big plus". Now you should get a big fat ad check at the end of the month for all these ads running in the margin due to all the time I spend on here instead of working!

I would use Brave or Firefox but I can't remember what my sign-in credentials are. :) So I'm stuck with Safari. I can access the site with Brave, and it's quite a bit faster, but can't sign in.
