Carr was not a good defender.

Kerr was a defensive liability at every stop.

We had 2 very good to great defenders in Butler and Oweh.

And Butler was hurt half the season.

I said Carr was an adequate defender.
I did not say he was a good defender.
He blocked a lot of shots.
I said Kerr was a spark plug of energy, which he was.
I did not say he was a great defender.
I don’t remember Kerr being abused the way Perry was.
My point was Losing Kerr, and Carr being hurt downgraded our defense.

Some chump coach trying to put a bigger target on our back. Pope will use this as motivation for our team.

Still, our biggest problem was rebounding.

Our first shot defense was OK. Not great. But OK. We just gave up far too many second and third chances.

I agree, but would add that Williams was a good defender most of the time. Stamina was a big issue for him, oddly enough.

Nothing irritates me more than playing D and causing a missed shot, just for them to get the ball 3 times and finally score. Or when we play good D force the miss, but the help side defender gets block happy instead of boxing out, miss the block and they get the easiest put back ever
