This guy was a real fighter. So many boxers refuse to get into a brawl. Not Arturo Gatti. He left it all in the ring. The Mickey Ward fights will forever be classics. Gatti may not have been the most talented, but his heart could never be questioned. His parting is a tragedy for the boxing community. A winner in my book.

His last fight was painful to watch because I didn't want him to retire, but as the fight progressed, it was evident that it would be for the best.

You are right on the money.

As a big fan of boxing , Gatti was one of the most entertaining fighters I have ever seen. Whether He won or lost , you never saw him fight and felt cheated. That guy showed up EVERY time and if anything gave you more than your money's worth whether you were there in person or simply watching on pay per view.
