We would have looked stupid having to take down all those billboards with him on it.

Probably too stressful for W-AL fans to see when they come to WalMart or Sams in Meridian.

One part about that may be that there seems to be no billboards for 5 miles once you get in Mississippi. Still, I know there's one in Meridian that always has something MSU related on it, so surely we could have put "Welcome to our STATE" on it.

If I were TCU, I would be howling about the gross unfairness of being systematically locked out of the BCS title game (it wouldn't have mattered who they scheduled, not that most good teams will agree to play them anyway), rather than playing BCS lapdog and a willing participant in the BCS screwjob.<div>
</div><div>I guess they're happy just waiting until 2012 and the Big East. However, if TCU had played in the Big East these past two seasons, they still probably would have gone 12-0 both years and been left out of the title game.</div>

You're right that would have definitely been a BCS conference if those 3 had stayed. It would have been a better conference than either the Big East or ACC.</p>
