If you will replace standard women's VB with women's beach volleyball ... dude, I'm a season ticket holder for life.

She wasn't fired. They were going to give her another year but she decided to quit and go back into engineering. This was expected.

You mean the guy that fields a nationally competitive squad despite having one of the worst facilities in all of DI? The guy that took 9 athletes to the 2008 NCAA championships? That Schmidt?

Friend's daughter on the team. They have plenty of talent including alot of Olympic Developmental Team players, but record speaks for itself. Friend thinks coach is too defensive minded, won't let the dogs out, and simply plays not to loose. Time for the Ninja to slice and dice.

You mean the guy who is the lowest paid track coach in the SEC and whose salary is 1/2 that of number 11? You're seriously talking about letting him go? I'd guess he's produced more than any other Olympic sport coach on our staff.

Schmidt has done a phenomenal job. He has zero facilities, but has a nationally competitive team every single year.

I agree on the soccer coach. He's freaking terrible. I know a girl on the team and she would concur.

my daughter attended her camp, I got a chance to hang out with her. She tried to build a program where there had been very little.
My daughter played club for years in Alabama, don't know what its like back home in MS but I got the impression that Tina was pulling most of her talent from Alabama. That changed and she also seemed to try to get some European folks as well.
I wish her well.

Coach Al Schmidt and Steve Dudley have produced the most successful MSU athletic teams in this school's history. Of course since Track and Field doesn't get the attention that most other sports do, they don't get the credit they deserve. Plus, if you think SEC football is the best in the country, then please look at the top 25 in track and field each year. I would like to see some $$$ thrown to these 2 coaches. And some facility upgrades as well.
