This kid is a great example of what sets us apart from OM, because the sky is the limit for this dude.

Care to elaborate? Not trying to be an ***; I really don't get the example. Excuse my stupidity...

Care to elaborate? I really don't get the excuse.

I'm not sure why he is someone that Ole Miss wouldn't recruit. In fact, I know we recruited him and offered him. I've heard he is an excellent player, by the way.

Yeah, OM was after this guy too. Rumor is that Yancy even admitted the offer was committable today, which shocked me(not that it was committable -- but that he admitted it after the guy committed to MSU)...

Still got work to do in the trenches in this class -- but skill position talent is like nothing I've ever seen at MSU...

Oh I agree. This kid is way too morally superior to ever play for OM. He's a all around family guy that would only do well in a family atmosphere that you just don't find at OM. Those guys are all bad apples that have no moral hygiene and deserve to all be deported to Mexico.

I think he means developing athletes into their natural positions.

McLaurin is another athlete that plays multiple positions...possible DB, WR, or add weight and play LB. The staff seems pretty good at locating that specific position and developing players for that role once an 'athlete' gets on campus. I saw Kaleb Euells play QB, linebacker, d line and punter in high school. Same with McKinney..played QB and linebacker. Justin Malone was a really good basketball player and decided to start playing football his junior year. Now Euells (D line) McKinney (LB) and Malone (OL) are all starters. There's a lot more examples but I think that was the gist.

At least one person thought that he was/is headed to Oxford.

Glad to see a UM fan finally admit this to everyone.

I've never appreciated a timestamp on a message board until coming here

You're buddy last week came to Powes defense in 8 minutes, which makes 12 minutes look pretty slow. Its still respectable. You guys keep up the good work.

This is really key, our mantra to the recruits is if you don't want to work and

develop then this is not the program for you. I've said it before, many prima donnas don't want to hear that crap and thankfully we aren't getting many.

Agree except for the Mexico part. Mexico has enough of its own issues without us dumping ours on them.

If his name wasn't Denzel he'd whip your *** for saying that.

haha ok...

12 minutes? I literally just logged in and read it. Was I supposed to wait 30 minutes before posting?

But jb1020, keep up the good work****

Nah you do what you want

I think most here would agree that it's hilarious how fast some of y'all come to the defense of OM.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence, no OM fans are obsessed with us at all. There's no way you have time to check this sure 30-40 times a day.
