The ones at the beginning of the year where they find one characteristic they have that no world series/super bowl champion has and marks them off until they get to a clear 1.

Bad thing about UNC is with no lawson, it is going to be tough for them to make final four.

Another common characteristic of Final Four teams: grizzled coaches. Since 1985, the average tenure for a coach whose team is in the Final Four is 15.75 years. While this is partly the product of circumstances -- powerhouse programs capable of reaching the Final Four don't typically hire neophytes -- it's instructive that even the best coaches often require numerous tournament appearances before they crack the code.

i would like to see the numbers for those schools who are not "powerhouse programs".
