Howard said that his son was one of the worst QB's in the SEC (which he was) and evidently Simms was pissed and threatened Howard.

Howard said bring it.

By the way, I would not know this except for Twitter. So just remember how great Twitter can be.

his son had better stats against much tougher competition than Tyler Bray did this season. Not saying his son isa great QB, or even close to it. But he did kind of get a raw deal at Tennessee this year.

How did Simms get a raw deal??? Bray threw for over 300 yards in 4 of his 5 starts, and in the other start threw for 232(which was still more than Simms threw for in 6 of his 8 starts) Simms never threw for 300 yards in 8 starts and only threw for over 250 once(with starts against UAB and UT Martin also)<div>
</div><div>How did Simms have better stats? Bray had a better QB rating, TD to INT ratio, yards per attempt, and most importantly, the team scored more points with him. Don't think the coaches would've gone with Bray if they thought he wasn't the better option</div>
