Third linebacker thus far. I'm wondering about the young LBs like Christian Jones and Dawson Merrick. Are they not highly valued anymore? We seem to repeating the same old pattern of recruiting right over top of our own guys.
I wonder if we will move to a 3-4 or 4-3. I mean it’s not set in stone this dude will run a nickel
Need depth. We lost McGahee already. Couple of graduations. Did Merritt have a major lower leg injury? Was using a scooter at LV bowl.
We have LBs who can get the job done. Want to upgrade? OK fine, but where in the **** are the defensive linemen? This team needs MEN on the D-line and pass rushers.
They may believe there are a couple of youngsters on the roster who look the part. Unfortunately I don’t believe we’re a very attractive destination for a DT right now. Firing our D line coach might not be helping us.
Simpson is a dude. Terry, Lafotu, Landen. We have some big athletic youngsters. Lenhart and RVP are back. Goldman?

The d line coach wasn’t good fit , the issue is Rhule didn’t have a plan b for the new d line coach. by not having one doesn’t help with recruiting one or two out of the portal. Also how much money is Nebraska willing to spend on one? Seems like the majority of the kids are going for the money instead of destination
