We just signed a 2 star defensive end out of starkville academy. Is it just me, or does that make anyone else kinda worried about our chances of keeping Pernell McPhee and Fletcher Cox. Ive heard Fletcher is being heavily persued by Bama, and that there is still a chance he is open to changing his commit status. And the longer Pernell holds off the signing of his letter of intent, the worse that seems to be for us. With the numerous 3 and 4 stars we have been going after at all positions, signing a hometown 2 star DE doesnt seem like it fits that strategy unless something else is at hand with Fletcher and Pernell.

Well if thats the case I applaud Mullen for going ahead and making some friends with some of our alumni. Thats a good move on his part. I just hope it also doesnt mean that Pernell is looking to go elsewhere and we are patching in another DE.
