it's nice to land your no. 1 QB target in June. That hasn't happened for us in a while. Now we can focus on our remaining 15 or so spots.
Said he looked thin because of his frame. Apparently every High School Coach, State Coach, Reporter et al was wowed instantly. Reports are he was an absolute physical FREAK at camp. Worked at DT and DE. No brainer on the spot offer. Played at Nettleton last year and going to be at Houston.

They were raving about him the other day, but no one knew who he was and it sounded like the recruiting people were asked to keep it quiet but the kid went ahead and committed. Just transferred from nettleton to houston and it looks like usm was the only ones that knew about him.
compares his athleticism level to that of Fletcher Cox coming out of highschool. Anotherwords an absolute freak. Played at a small school and is VERY under the radar at this point....

I'm not trying to compare him as an "overall prospect" to Cox or especially Nkemdiche... Just trying to show his overall level of athleticism compared to other top athletes out there...as a building block to work with.
Just making the point that this is the kind of guy you grab regardless...on the hopes you can develop him into something great in the future. He's got plenty of time...Not like we're going to be hurting at DE/DT for a few years!
