Another One Bites The Dust

When this came out in the mid to late 1970 I use to go around the house singing the parts of the song Another One Bites The Dust and it was hilarious to my Mom now in Heaven. She always got a good laugh out of it and if I went a while and didn't sing it she would ask if I had bite the dust. She liked that song. I miss her so much. In Heaven since 2005.
When I was about 6, the preacher was preaching on young people and their music. He played this song in church. Little ol me was in awe, and naturally I tapped my foot and nodded my head to the beat. The preacher spotted me and said "here's a prime example of how Satan has hold of young folks!" Mortified my mother, who promptly beat the living **** out of me the second we were out of eyesight of the church. As we got back into the car, my old man asked her "I thought you liked queen" hahaha
To this day I find myself singing it maybe several times a year. I guess when I think of how Mom got a kick out of it and I am thinking of her. Been on my mind for several days now.
I guess it is East Surry's song this year on Friday night. I used to say it when Mount Airy had a run and won every Friday.
