Shot goes up, Zion pushes off (no call, woulda been his fifth foul), but the ball bouces over Zion’s head and CC runs it down in the corner as Zion falls. CC then slips where Zion had fallen and turns it over leading to two points. So, the refs lack of balls to call the push in the back keeps him in the game, aids them in CC turning it over and Zion never fouls out! Ouch.

It was a blatant forearm shove to the back of Williams directly in front of an official. Not even a mention by the announcers.

In reality Zion had 3 fouls in the 1st half that weren't called if they were he would have fouled out early in the 2nd half. The guy is a beast and truly one of the best players in the country. We don't have anyone to stop him.

Sour grapes reminiscent of slapd!cks.

We had ONE foul in the first half and got a lotta great whistles and decisions.

Sitting at the game, I remarked at one point to my wife that we'll never get more favorable officiating against Duke...

Wife? No way! And, if in fact you have one? That poor woman.

Duke fan here. This is correct, the officiating was a bit one sided for most of the game. Thankfully, they fixed the charging call in the paint as that was obviously a defensive foul per the video. But you guys played well despite the officiating and you have a helluva squad.

Hey lil buddy, so do you guys. Your team is young, but talented, so you should do pretty well come tourney time, although a tighter whistle on your big man in the postseason will likely be your downfall. I'm sure we'll play again in the ACC Tourney. Good luck the rest of the way

Translated: sitting in my mom’s basement I yelled to her for “meatloaf”, upon arrival of the “meatloaf” I ripped mom’s head off for not bringing ketchup to accompany the said “meatloaf”.

Frustrated by the lack of ketchup for the “meatloaf”, I grabbed my iPad and took my frustration out on “Vince”, noting to all that he was no “ Tommy Boy”, he was and would always be “Fan Boy”. Feeling vindicated after my keyboard tirade I began plotting my next conspiracy within our athletic program.

I quickly moved on from our Duke meltdown convinced of the rumor I myself had concocted that “Vince” indeed installed our press break, not Chris Mack. Mom tucked me in as I drifted away on the Lay-Z-Boy. I would sleep well, the loss a distant memory.

Officiating one sided ?
Have you watched a game at Cameron ?
Maybe they wanted to emulate Duke's officiating advantage in Durham.

Were not SuCkS fans. We dont cry about refs.

Looks like that was going to be your go to had duke lost............

I thiink what is getting lost in this is the fact that Duke never gave up. I was impressed with that. Most teams will start to quit with less than 10 minutes left in the game, and down by 23. Duke isn't most teams. They took the very best punch the Cards could throw and then started punching back and we didn't handle it very well.

Got to give Duke a ton of credit. They are the best team in college basketball IMO. We did better than I ever dreamed we could last night, and while it sucks to lose especially like that, it is another teaching moment IF these kids care to learn and I think they do.

This team always plays hard and they are quickly becoming one of my favorite UofL teams of all-time because of the effort they give. Now all they need to do is learn how to play smarter. If they do that, we'll make some post season noise.

What you are missing is a team may get some favorable calls in the beginning but Coach K will wear down the officials and when it counts Duke will get the calls they need to win the game. I have seen it for 20 years.

Dont get personal Creek.
Its just a game.
That guy gets personal with our AD on a daily basis. A guy that does that should have thick skin. He’ll be fine. No preaching required. Also, just a little “Wedding Crashers” humor, not get the reference?

I'm not about to blame referees when the Cards had a 23 point lead with less than 10 minutes to go.

Deflection from another failed POV.

Anytime you want proof of anything I bring here as commentary or evidence, just say so. I like making people look stupid.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You’re such an important and successful guy. And intellectually you’re soooo much smarter than anyone on this board. We all know that. You know, from all your chest thumping and pompous posts.

I’ll say this, I’m on this board way more than I need to be but haven’t even cracked 3,000 posts. You on the other hand are at 41,000 plus??? Really? Get over yourself.

Amen. Contrast how Duke handled being down 20 on the road with how UNC handled being down 20 at home. I can’t stand Duke but they were pretty impressive that last 10 minutes.

Guy who follows me around anyway AFTER his uninvited self-introduction...
Dear Diary,

There are only three home games left and despite putting out as many signals as I can about how impactful meeting him was and looking for him in the crowd as I ride the escalator down from the upper deck, I fear that there may never be a second chance to meet BPGhost.

Sigh.

Oh well, A girl can still dream. Until tomorrow.

Haven't sat in the upper arena for years. Don't let any facts get in the way of your delusions.

At this point I've also said, I could only identify you as the least stable looking guy in a police line-up. That doesn't suggest another opportunity to introduce yourself...

I have never personally been involved in any capacity of a police lineup so I’ll have defer to what I’m sure is your vast experience in that area. :)
