Liggins was never going to the league based upon his offense.
He was already named SEC Defensive Player of the Year and to the Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team.

Cal definitley wanted Liggins to stay, we only had 2 guards that season with Miller backing up the 2, 3, and 4.
His defense would have been a tremendous help.
So no, Cal didnt push him out, there was no one coming in to take his spot.

Once again. Im going off Bams interview and what other players like Ulis has said in the past. You guys get on here and create your own. Liggins had a child. Why wouldn't our program convince him to stay. Get a degree. And if anything council the kid on his draft status honestly. Liggins had to struggle. Not saying Cal said leave. I can't say that was the conversation. But I am asking. Did Cal try to convince him to stay? Get a degree? Have housing, insurance and stability for him and his child? Liggins has struggled. Not only bouncing around. But with personal issues also. Maybe another year could of made it easier. Instead this culture created by Cal has pushed guys out to early.

His stock was high for a late 2nd rnd pick. Lol.so. he could of only gone up. Really have some confidence in the kid. He left because of who and what we're coming in. Don't kid yourself. Liggins could've def raised his stock. Hell the path he took. Would of been no different, if not better had he stayed.

He would be behind Lamb, MKG and Miller the next season, so no he would not have raised his value any.

I think PJ was lazy as hell this past season several times and complained about SGA's PG abilities. I was flabbergasted by how awful Richards hands were and why Knox's defense resembled a bull fighter and his cape...
