I refuse to believe this team doesn't make these mistakes in practice. I don't believe this staff doesn't miss pitches at an alarming rate, I don't believe this team doesn't boot balls at 3rd, and I don't believe we move runners when we need to.

I also don't believe these are new issues either for this team. I would imagine they've been there for sometime. Our season, regardless of RPI, strength of schedule, or whatever else, are predicated on Cohen and Thompson fixing this team fundamentally. It just that simple.

I don't know how strikes are called in practice and simulated games, but I hope they use tight plates sometimes. Our pitching staff just can't seem to adjust when ump doesn't give the corners or low strike

Yeah, we have such a tough time adjusting from pitching on the outer quarter to outer third of the plate.
