I have heard it questioned on this board as to why the concrete walls on the existing North end of both sides of the stadium will remain after the expansion. Well, I did some digging and was able to find out that the answer to this question is an easy solution to a simple problem. The problem is that the existing East and West sides of the stadium are actually at different elevations. Thus, if the new expansion didn't have the two walls, there would either be a large step down on one of the sides, that could be dangerous, or, for comedy, one of the sections would be a tilted like a ramp. Thats all I know.

We were hearing talks of the locker rooms being under the stadium after the expansion. In the little reading i have had the time to do on the subject, I haven't noticed anything to that affect. Any word?

Yes, visitor locker rooms will be under the north end zone. Our locker room will stay in the south. Just logistically better all around, and moves opposing fans out of the Junction to some degree.

I still don't really understand how the sight lines are going to work for those sitting in the expansion area near those walls.

That wall allows us to raise the expansion several feet above than the existing bleachers(on each row) and still look right. This easily allows everyone to see over the wall...
