Okay, here's a few facts...

1) The game is on ESPN3. Only. Not DirecTV, not Comcast. Not PPV. Online ONLY.

2) You can find out if your Internet Service Provider streams ESPN3 here http://espn.go.com/watchespn/affList

3) This is a helpful link http://espn.go.com/watchespn/getaccess

I'll be happy to answer questions, but please remember, stupid questions will be laughed at.

Two questions:

1) I assume no blackouts?
2) can't you just put the game up on the jumbotron. You can hook up my Xbox and stream it, of course, as long as I get to play a few games of NCAA football on it first.

1) No blackouts.
2) not that easy to play games on that thing. There's a delay, so you really have to play in the control room, which takes most of the fun out of it.

So I have AT&T.....

for my DSL service but I have Direct TV. Everytime I try to go to ESPN3 it directs me to sign up and only says Directtv is not supported. I'm not sure why AT&T is even supported if its not given as an option. IT is ridiculous that trying to watch a game should be this frikkin' difficult.

If you read the fine print of what is required to have access to ESPN3 it is not only AT&T as your ISP, but you ALSO have to have a cable package the provides you with a minimum of digital cable (can also be said, if you don't have OnDemand programming then you are S.O.L. as far as getting access to ESPN3)

You can get real crazy and follow my advice in another post and get a VPN service to fake your I.P. address outside the U.S. (ie Italy) and then also subscribe to ESPNplayer.com (remember this site DOES NOT WORK from inside the United States).

I fell you pain though. I live outside the U.S. and go through this stuff each and every time I want to watch any televised MSU sporting event or Dallas Cowboys game.

I have only ATT DSL and no tv provider. I watch all games that are not blacked out and replays during the next week of those that were blacked out. Use ATT to login as suggested by Jockstrap John.

Don't get your hopes up... YOU WILL see a link to the game on this web site come Saturday morning bit It WILL NOT WORK come game time. Only games that are televised will work on that site. They currently do not have the ability to stream games that are broadcast only on ESPN3.

Perfect example, the Jackson State game.... showed it was available and it was not come game time.

It's showing up on my watch ESPN app that I have on my I phone and I pad. It's a free app. So I guess I'll try that. You just have to have one of the providers that they list. I have Comcast so it looks like I'm good to go.

None of what you just typed is true. But I appreciate your effort. ... AT&T Internet subscribers can watch the game on ESPN3, no matter cable issuer.

You should be good. I'm still figuring out the difference between WatchESPN and ESPN3. Complicated stuff.

I have Comcast ( Internet only) and I couldn't get the ravens vs cincy game tonight. I'm really confused on what it takes to get espn3 or watch espn programming.

So do we have a link to espn3 because when itry to go there on my iPad it auto redirects me to watch espn and gives me no options that include AT&T. I'm so very confused and I'm supposed to be tech savvy.

The way I understand it - WatchESPN - you have to have a valid cable subscription to use WatchESPN. You can watch anything on the family of ESPN networks if you have the cable subscription. So you could have watched the Auburn/MSU game this weekned on WatchESPN if you again, have the proper cable subscription.

ESPN3 is under WatchESPN but it's only related to your internet service provider. With ESPN3 - you can only watch certain things that are allowed. So this weekend, you could not have watched the Auburn/MSU game unless it was an ESPN3 game as well. If it wasn't, you couldn't have watched it using WatchESPN or ESPN3.

So this weekend - since the game is under ESPN3 - anyone can watch it as long as their ISP is a valid one.

I think this makes sense. This Is Our Media Relatin'

Whoever you use for internet - if it's a valid provider - you login with those credentials.

That made sense and I'm even more confused. No, ESPN3 is ON WatchESPN. If you get WatchESPN, you'll be able to watch the game. .. I think. ... Maybe I'm not the best person to answer these questions

Ok people here is the diffnce between ESPN3 and WatchESPN...

Ok people here is the difference between ESPN3 and WatchESPN...

ESPN is a segmented live stream of the game you are wishing to watch. You find the game, click the link, and your game comes on. When the broadcast is over your link goes dead. Here is a list of providers.

WatchESPN is a live broadcast of all ESPN platforms for select cable providers. It is like watching ESPN 24/7-365 on your pc or other device. You turn on WatchESPN choose your channel and watch all the sports you want just like TV. The list of providers is Bright House Networks, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon FiOS TV. If you do not have one of these providers then you have to use ESPN3.

Only for tops and power bottoms. One could argue that a power bottom is only that because of the power generated from the top** (couldnt resist the always sunny retort)

Comcast wouldn't let you use WatchESPN unless you had iOS. Android - you were out of luck until a few months ago.

Apple TV for $99....

If you've been considering it I'd go ahead and get it now.

If you have an iphone or an ipad you can send the game via watchespn straight to your tv. Its a little smaller than your tv, but its still good enough to watch.

If you have a 2011 (or newer) macbook or a mac desktop and you have the new OSx Mountain Lion you can stream it on ESPN3 straight to your TV in all of its 1080p glory (assuming the internet broadcast is in HD).

I could be wrong, but I'm almost certain that if you have the app on your Ipad/Iphone, you can always watch ESPN3, regardless of your ISP provider. You can't watch any of the regular ESPN(2,U, etc) channels unless you have one of the cable providers, but you can log in under Other Provider and watch ESPN3.

That's how it works. At least in my experience. ESPN3 works no matter what. To watch the other ESPN networks, you must have one of the cable providers.

incorrect. I have AT&T and NO cable or satellite provider... I watched ESPN3 all weekend with my AT&T credentials...

I've had a similar experience on SOME games on ESPN3. I can watch most games (assuming it's not blacked out), but ESPN3 will occasionally ask me to sign in thru my cable provider (and Direct TV has never been listed). I'm not sure what the common thing has been among those particular videos. I never bothered to look into it. I just found the game somewhere else...
