During a live chat on one of the recrooting sites, he went on and on about LSU and even Southern. He didn't have much to say about State or UM.<div>He think he said football was his passion, butevidentlybaseball is what he is really, really good in.</div><div>
</div><div>Anyone have any first hand knowledge on where he stands?</div>

I remember reading an article and it sounded like LSU really made an impact by selling that they've had a couple of successful two-sport stars. If he goes anywhere other than MLB, I figure that's where it'll be.

but I know people who have spoken to him from time to time since I went to the same high school. Apparently he wants to keep playing football so college isn't out of the question. It seems like that if he's offered enough money, he'll go MLB. I know this doesn't really add too much new to the discussion though. I don't really know what college he's really interested in, so all of this talk about LSU being a big option for him could be legit for all I know.

might 'think twice' before risking another Zach Lee situation with the new 25 limit.

If this happened last year, signing him as part of a 28 man class would be a 'no brainer' ... don't know for the upcoming class.

During the 2010 State Games baseball tournament in Meridian, pro baseball scouts said he was a first-round pick in the 2012 draft. Now this was before he hurt the knee in the 2010 football season. Not sure if that has lowered him any or not since he is still playing football pretty good this year.
