from being State's all-time leading rusher. I don't know what to make of that, I truly don't.

as bad as people would like to think. Behind these lines, what he has done is pretty remarkable.

and individual plays where he truly looks like one of the best we've ever had. And then there's the rest of the time he's on the field. </p>

but he has gotten alot of carries. Even as a freshmans, he had 170 carries. That's 15 carries a game.

To put it in perspective, Jerious had 573 carries in 4 years. Dixon has 645 to date, and he is only a Junior.

I will say I've been impressed with his running since the Georgia Tech game. He has been much quicker off the line, and looks like he has lost a few pounds since August.

The SEC's top punter in number of punts...doesnt mean he is great, just means he has had a helluva lot of attempts...So has Dixon

The other teams kick off so damn much. I had really never thought about it before, but it makes sense.

Well, ****.

With seven rushing TDs this year, AD is up to 30. With just 8 more in the next 13 games, he would be ninth overall. He has an outside shot of finishing in the top 5.

CAREER:
1. 49- Herschel Walker, Georgia ..................................................................................1980-82
2. 46- Kevin Faulk, LSU................................................................................................1995-98
3. 45- Carnell Williams, Auburn ...................................................................................2001-04
4. 44- Dalton Hilliard, LSU ...........................................................................................1982-85
5. 43- Bo Jackson, Auburn ...........................................................................................1982-85
6. 41- Shaun Alexander, Alabama ................................................................................1996-99
41- Darren McFadden, Arkansas...................................................................2005-07
8. 40- Charles Alexander, LSU......................................................................................1975-78
9. 37- Deuce McAllister, Ole Miss .................................................................................1997-00
10. 36- Lars Tate, Georgia .............................................................................................1984-87
36- Emmitt Smith, Florida.........................................................................................1987-89
12. 35- James Stewart, Tennessee...................................................................................1991-94
13. 34- Johnny Musso, Alabama ....................................................................................1969-71
34- Joe Cribbs, Auburn............................................................................................1976-79

20. 31- Fred Taylor, Florida ............................................................................................1994-97
31- Tim Tebow, Florida ..........................................................................2006-present

In total TDs, he has 34 with 13 games left. Unless someone else active is ahead of him, he is already in the top 20 and again has a shot at the top 5 career. Did you ever think you would see Boobie on any list with Cadillac, Bo Jackson, and Emmitt Smith?

even if he eclipses his mark. But everyone but me and ColumbusDawg in a recent thread which asked who would you rather have "Ducre or Dixon" responded with Ducre.

are games against bad to average teams. The 3 times he's rushed for 100 yds this year: MTSU, Vandy, Ark. His bad games are against teams more physically superior than us.

Point being, I don't think that he really runs that much differently in games, its just how much help our o-line can give.

Kickoff returns go for at least twice the yardage punt returns do on average. I'd much rather return punts and be low in total kick return yards than return kickoffs and be high.

Another stat you don't want to be too high in is field goals made. You should be scoring touchdowns, not field goals. Oklahoma's FG kicker had only his 8th attempt all year in the Texas Tech game Saturday. Of course, with Carlson being high in field goals made will never be a problem.
