Anybody else wishing Dixon would have been drafted by a team that needed a starting tailback? He will be near 30 before he gets to start if Gore stays healthy andif he stays with the 49ers. I hate to say it but I kind of hope Gore goes down so Dixon can prove what hes got.

the 49ers hire a coach that realizes that you can use two backs instead of wearing one down.

Things have gotten slightly better since they fired the OC but earlier in the season Gore would get 20+ carries and then also catch 7-8 passes. No one else was getting involved in the offense. At this point I would rather the Niners just lose out so they can fire Sylvester Singletary. I don't wantthem to finish strong and go 7-9, barely miss the playoffs again, then retain Singletary.

so that they can possibly draft Andrew Luck and get a new coach.

Singletary has been Croom-esque with all of the communication problems and etc. That's just unacceptable in the NFL.

I scope the San Francisco message boards every now and then and the 49er fans love Dixon and want to see him get more touches too. I'm glad he switched to #24.

Two spots after SF. They eventually picked wasted a pick on Legarrate Blount for their 'big back'.

With defenses keying on CJ this year, Dixon would have done well and been playing alot in the Titan's O.
