Any chance Chris Maloney moves up from AAA to manage Cardinals?

I doubt it will happen, but just interested in some comments. He has done very well for the organization over these past few years. Just not sure if St Louis is a team that is willing to give a relative no name a chance. I think Chris can do the job.

Like you've said, I don't know if they're willing to give a relative no name a chance. Wikipedia says the last minor league manager they've hired to be manager was Vern Rapp. However, Rapp did replace a longtime legend in Red Schoendienst in 1977, so there is some precedent.</p>
