I would bet that they get rid of Crowton. Malzahn would be wise to move somewhere else since the son of a preacher manwill be heading for the NFL. He is hot right now but his stock will go down after a full year without Cam.
Head coach is his next move, I would think. He's already at a big-time SEC school, with total control of the offense. I think it'll be like Mullen - HC at a mid to lower level BCS school. You're right, though, that Newton has made him look VERY good. But I think he'll still be in the mix after next year with McCalebb and Dyer and whoever can play QB.
The craziest part of it all is that Malzahn was coaching HIGH SCHOOL just FIVE years ago. </p>
