Nebraska doesn't strike me as a program that would take guys that were given every chance to keep their noses clean and couldn't.
Maybe Iowa State will take them or they will end up at some corrupt Southern school.

That was might thought as well, Dantonio (or any coach) doesn't cut loose talented DL for nothing. If they were given multiple chances and couldn't stay out of trouble that is pretty telling.
I bet Youngstown State's DL coach could straighten them out!
The past is the past-but just so you know the previous coach was a way harder disciplinarian than the current guy (I'm not saying this is good or bad...just simply stating).
The "JP" term is really what I wanted to comment on. When I read it, my mind immediately connected to the old JP and not the new JP. I think the old JP should be glad for the new JP in this regard

Beggars can't be choosers. We lost our four best DL from last year (and everyone of them could've returned).

Unless I'm completely mistaken, they won't be able to contribute anything for 2 years, due to transfer rules within conference. If we still need something like this in 2 years, then we need a new coaching staff. I think we will begin to reload starting this recruiting year so that in 2 years, we won't even need to consider these guys.
If they could play this fall, then take a flyer on them. But as it stands, that's not even possible, is it?
