I am learning there are dozens of wireless headphone options. I primarily would use them during running or listening to something on the computer. Any recommendations? Someone recommended Audio Technica ATH M50 but their website lists them as discontinued.

Avoid over priced junk like "Beats by Dre".

Hands down, the best pair of headphones I've ever had were a pair of Sony Studio headphones. So I would recommend the MDR7506's. But they are not wireless and not meant for running. :)

Agree about the beats but my noise canceling Bose are amazing.

Cheaper version.....and quality are the SkullCandy headphones. They are very, very good. Especially for under $50.

Sennheiser. You'll crap when you see some of their prices, but the quality is superb.

The Sony Studio series mentioned above are a nice alternative and won't damage your wallet.

LOL! That looks like something my cousin Jake would rig up. He had a car stereo that was built around four salvaged intercom speakers mounted in an old Camaro. Sheesh what a racket! And he wonders these days why he's going deaf.

I went with Audio Technica ATH M50x. Thanks for your comments.

I will get different pair specifically for running.

I see "kids" in the gym with the over-the-ear style headphones, and it just confounds me. If you get any kind of a workout in, I can't imagine how funky (no pun intended) those headphones must get from ear sweat.

The best headphones for running I've used where made by Sony and where the same as the buds that come with an iPod but had a headband connecting the two. I no longer have them. Unfortunately I can't find the same type with bluetooth to avoid the cable and may have to resort to individual ear phones. I can see working out with over the ear headphones. Just not practical.

received the headphones today. Excellent sound. I can see my wife and children stealing them or insisting they all get a pair. Bought them new via Amazon at a significant savings.
