The Eye on College Basketball podcast is one of my favorites. It's hosted by Memphis' own Gary Parrish along with Matt Norlander. They do a great job year round of talking college basketball.
In the summer, they traditionally do the Summer Shootaround which is a series of 10-15 preview episodes of some high major, high profile teams. Naturally we aren't one of those. But over the last few years they have begun auctioning off episodes for other teams with the proceeds going to St. Jude's. Two years ago there was a technical snafu and they did two - one for Oklahoma and one for Arizona State. Last year it was James Madison. This year they are auctioning off three episodes. For reference, last year's winning bid was $760. Is there any interest in pooling our money and trying to get one of the episodes to be about us?

Maybe let's use this thread to see if there's any interest? If so, my thought is that everyone who wants to contribute can Venmo me the money. I'll post the amounts here for transparency. On Thursday afternoon, if we have enough to be a winner, I will make the bid on the first auction. If we don't win, I'll try the second one, then the third one. If we win, great, we get an episode. If we don't, I'll Venmo all the money back to the contributors.
I'll start out with $20 and hope this goes better than the one man pep rally.
