Kearney putting on a clinic against Millard North tonight. Up 35-0 at halftime. Kearney is good, but this is not a vintage MN team either. Really impressed with the Kearney QB. Good touch and good accuracy. Kearney showing some good team speed.

The HC at Central has sort of "quit" and the OC did quit. They are a mess right now. They might be worse than Benson and that is saying a lot.
Team to watch if you get a chance is Boys Town. QB is going to SDSU and the RB is a stud.

This Lincoln High team is damn good. Cedric Case is a very very good QB. His downfall is his height. His completion percentage is 77%. Case has 22 TD's and just 1 interception. His dad came to their coaching staff when this team came to Lincoln High. He is a big part of it. Many of these kids played together for many years and won a National Championship as either 6th or 7th graders I believe. They are very well coached. Ill call it now, they will be in the State Championship game this season.
I know the LH QB is really good but other than that I don't have a clue about what his college plans are at all. But, I am guessing that he can't convince to walk on, I would think he will get some smaller offers soon but that is just a guess.
Man...they could. It will depend on the draw they end up getting. Can't be on the same side with Burke or Omaha North.
I know Lincoln High is good but I don't see state finals good. Their schedule has been extremely weak so far. Not sure who they have left on the schedule but I'd think the competition would have to get better than what they have seen so far.
Millard North is starting a bunch of sophs. And they don't have the 280 lb's they had the last two years.
Yes they have a favorable schedule. Fremont, LSW and Millard West remaining. Even with a softer schedule, they are doing what they should and that is beating the crap out of teams. Haven't had a close game yet.
After this week, the teams they have played so far are a combined 7-24. That's an incredibly weak schedule The teams they have remaining are a combined 10-5, so it does get tougher.

No, they are kind of a mess. I keep thinking they will put together a good team but it just hasn't happened. Outside of Omaha and Lincoln, Grand Island is salty. Kearney is good.
They are 3-2 with their only losses to Prep(41-8) and Kearney(61-16). Their 3 wins are against teams that have a combined 3-12 record.
