The Stanley Cup finals start tomorrow at 7 ET. Any Blackhawks/Flyers fans out there?

To make this sports related (most southerners don't know what the hell hockey really is) and probably start a fight, hockey players are the toughest players of any professional sport today. discuss.

and can't believe that we are still playing with all of the injuries. I've followed them since the Broad Street Bullies days. As far as athletes go, Bobby Knight called hockey players the best athletes in the world.

In a side note, if you Jackson denizens will bring in a hockey team like the Jackson Bandits (what an appropriate name), then I'll return to the capital city.

Making a note. Otherwise, it's no Jackson for him.

Not sure if you noticed, but another restaurant is going in just down from the Mayflower on Capitol Street. Parlor Market.

Won't have to fight you for a seat there, right?

Cool?

Until their crippling collapse in Game 5, Nashville had Chicago beaten. Plus, while it's illegal to like anything Philly related, the Flyers are a cool franchise.

When I was a kid, I loved the Broad St. Bullies. I can't believe the Flyers haven't won the Stanley Cup since then. Second winningest franchise in the NHL and no titles since 1975. How ironic would it be if they finally wonanother title this year, which was a very mediocre season. I had given them up for dead when they were down 0-2 to the Bruins in the 1st round.
