I remember the first time I saw wsmfp - 10.21.05. Nearly 20 years later and I still have yet to relive the moment where a gallon Ziploc bag filled to the brim with shrooms was handed to me mid-show.

Me and 2 of my buddies were the very first people in the parking lot for that show. Was a wild day. Don’t think i made it through the first 2 or 3 songs. Only real memory was seeing a gal sitting in the back of a van, holding a newborn, and selling quesadillas to make money to get in the show. I guess the baby would just stay in the van?? Was a damn fun day

Sometime after that they had a show at veterans. It was a disaster. They selling hot beer on the field. I guess their idea was to bring hot beer to field, restock and let it ice down and then sell. Well, it was selling so fast there was no time to ice it down. Completely fitting for jackson.

The only time I ever saw a fight at a Panic show was in Veterans Memorial during Henry Parsons. It was a hell of a sight.

Crazy. I went to High School with the photographer. Had no idea she did this.

Saw them on the baseball field at Millsaps in 95 and the Jackson zoo around the same time. Tickets were like $18.00. Also saw the Allman brother at the zoo I think. Got the worst sunburn of my life at the Panic zoo show.

Thanks for sharing. The band, in this form is some of my favorite music. Mikey was just different than any guitarist I’ve ever heard.

Yep! Was there in full force. My old stomping grounds. I’ve seen them play several places in Jackson. The oddest being Jackson Zoo.

Me and two buddies didn’t have or know where to get tickets (before cell phones) so we climbed the fence on state street where it went around the big oak tree. Got to the field and security wouldn’t let us in. We had to go get tickets at the Ag center on Lakeland and come back. Wild and free!!!

Jackson was rough then too no doubt. In today’s Jackson a lot of suburb people won’t go there unless it’s absolutely necessary. As a little kid I remember going to Red, hot and blue bbq, Piccadilly, and many other Jackson establishments in the late 90s early 00s. Nobody was really worried in broad day. We used to go to north park mall/county line area a whole lot as well. As the years when on we went to Jackson less and less as a family. It really is quite sad. I remember a much more vibrant Jackson. **** I remember taking field trips to the Jackson zoo. Now you have to be crazy to venture over there. I can only imagine what I was like in the 60s 70s 80s probably way better then the late 90s and very early 00s even though that era is golden compared to now.

Some of my friends parents remember metro center as a cool place to hang out back in the day. That’s crazy to me. Last time I was there was 2014 to get a drivers license my junior year. I couldn’t wait to get out of that area it was so depressing, it was like hell on earth

I grew up in the metro center. Lol. They had an arcade “Diamond Jims” - spent hours in there. And the food court. Metro was the thing before north park.

I grew up in south Jackson off of old mcdowel rd and went to hillcrest. We lived out to the reservoir in 1988 when things. Really started taking a turn in Jackson. Before then I loved where we lived. Could ride our bike to the ymca and baseball fields around the corner and played there all day everyday

I was just about to post this. Diamond Jim’s, Service Merchandise to wish for things from Santa, with some delicious Krystal for dinner (we didn’t have one in Vicksburg at the time), was peak Saturday afternoon.

I still have an old Diamond Jim's token on my desk. Possibly my most sentimental possession.
