Just wondering if anyone knows if he put on some additional muscle in the off season? With his skill set, and with some more strength, he can be right there with anyone in the weight class. Doubt if he's beating Steveson any time soon but think he can beat the others with more strength and better bottom position wrestling.

He is better than everyone but Gable but I wouldn’t be shocked if he beat him in the Big Ten or NCAA. Since the last time they wrestled much stronger and a better attack game.

The difference is Gable’s athleticism and quickness. He is insanely quick for a guy his size. He’s a unicorn in that regard. Beatable? Yes. Likely? Meh. It’s going to be very tough for Kerk.

Cassar had the playbook. Keep away from Gable, then pick your time to blast in! Kerk wrestles Gable too tentatively, as do most of Gable's opponents. If Kerk tries to slow dance with Gable, he will lose decisively.

Kerk was clearly intimidated by Gable the last time they wrestled. He has nothing to lose by being aggressive this time.

Yeah, Gable is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Penn State fans likely didn’t appreciate the enormity of what Ant Cassar accomplished when he beat Gable twice that year. Yes, he was a true freshman and Cassar was a 5th year senior, but still…Gable Steveson has since dominated at the college and international levels..
