I don't know anything about Yazoo county's expectations this season but I think it's safe to say it won't take much to beat MRA. MRA looked awful last week in their preseason jamboree.

I don't follow them closely but have friends that go there that say the offensive line may be an issue but the MRA defense may be pretty good. As a former QB that got killed on that field when I was 14 I am hoping the MRA quarterback can survive. He is a good kid that left Madison Central for playing time, I think he is a sophmore which means he may be growing up in a hurry.

I wonder If Canton Academy will beat St. Andrews? The game I want to see is Prep vs. St. Stanislaus. Bret Farve's nephew plays quarterback for that school. Prep also plays Forest Highschool which was the state AAA champions last year. They also play Pearl again, which is a AAAAA school. I think Pearl might get them this year.

I think Starkville Academy plays Akerman. That might be a good one to watch.

...I think you can guess how it'll turn out for MRA. After watching a couple of those clips I started to have visions of him catching the ball from the TE position for us. He's an absolute beast running with the ball in the open field.

At (what I understand to now be) 6'5" 255, he's very agile with the ball in the open field. And at the end of the play he looks to run over somebody.

I know we'll probably use him as a DE, but I kept thinking Reggie Kelly, Reggie Kelly...
