Probably more interesting to watch on TV anyway. NASA and SpaceX are already streaming on their respective YouTube channels as well.Don't know but it's taking the recovery ship 3 hours to get to the splashdown site, however far that would be. Maybe 40 miles? With good visability, might be able to see the parachute cluster.
Coverage is on the NASA Channel as well as CSPAN.
There sure are a lot of sightseers around. That's not very wise.
Rednecks gonna Redneck... a little radiation and space gasses won’t hurt them.
Yeah. Very surprised at the lack of security keeping sightseers away.
We went to Pickens to at least see the recovery boat come in but parking was insane so we hit our normal spot in between Navarre and Pensacola Beach after Mop said it’s going to be 33 miles out. I knew we wouldn’t be able to see it. We saw at least 5 cars stuck in the sand trying to park off the shoulder in Pickens and at least another 5 between Portofino and Opal Beach. As soon as I saw all the cars I told my wife, I bet there is an armada of boats out there (especially with 1 foot swells) trying to get close to that splashdown. All the previous splashdowns have been out in the middle of the Pacific - this one was easy for "tourists" to get to being so close to shore.
Do you ever see any Pelosi flags there? **
