As it turns out, going to a ton of concerts and sitting at a desk with headphones blaring 40 hours a week for 30 years isn't good for your ears. Who could have known?
I just deal with it. I tried some kind of pills off Amazon one time but it didn't help.

I have both subjective and pulsatile tinnitus. Have just lived with it for years. Don’t believe the cure hype, but if someone has a remedy, please let us know.

Had tinnitus years ago that I couldnt get rid of, turns out it was related to sciatic issues I was having. Changed my gym routine up a bit and started doing daily stretches focused on my lower back and both eventually got better. Didnt really link the 2 until a couple times my tinnitus would come back before my back would start acting up so these days it can be an early warning sign for me to take it easy.

I know there are other more common issues that cause tinnitus but if you have any kind of back/neck pain would focus on that and see if it helps. When my tinnitus was a problem the only thing that actually helped were some sound therapy videos I found on youtube, but it was only temporary.

This time about a year ago I went to the doc to complain about Tinnitus and a year later I am told I have that and Ménière's disease. Have practically gone deaf in my left ear in 12 months and still have Tinnitus. They tell me there is no cure.

Yes, for many years. Largely due to gunfire and explosions while serving in the Army.

Keep BP down (mine = 117/78 usually). Limiting caffeine helps some. Walking helps some. Otherwise, I deal with it.

Good luck.

DW has Meniere's. Eight years now. Lost half or more hearing in right hear. Also has noise & pressure in it. The degree of those come & go. Also has/had vertigo with it. Not too much these days. Was worst the first two years or so. I can't tell how bad she is at any moment. What we both notice is she often can't tell where an extraneous sound is coming from or what it is. Misses low volume, higher frequency sounds.

Guy I know said one ear always "sizzles" like it's an intermitent static sound. He says it's just one ear and gets worse when he's conjested and better in the winter when everything outside is dead, so he knows it's allergy-related. He said decongestants make it go away but he has high blood pressure, so can't take decongestants. It seems like it could be anything that causes tinnitus.
