it for damn sure will not be next year. Lived through one of those double compound breaks with a very close friend....2 years later they were cleared to play. It is just complicated healing process and very long recovery cycle. Not to mention the mental portion of the recovery.

mcrae will be 100% six months post-op. clean break. simple break. simple fix. he's already back in the training room doing rehab. prothro's infection was due to a crappy hospital. even the people that work at DCH call is "Don't Come Here."

All that happened about the time I was going back-and-forth to T-Town for an LSAT prep class. Of course, being in a class with almost all Bammers, we talked about Prothro some. The infection was definitely a result of going to DCH. No one could understand why he chose to go there instead of Birmingham. They only have arguably the best sports medicine doctors in the world at Birmingham while DCH has the reputation of a butcher's facility.
