Does anyone have any kind of update on Cam Newton? I read Oklahoma impressed him very much, but that is really all I have seen. When is he committing to a school and are we still in a good position to get him?

he double pinky-swore secret committed to Mullen last night according to my best friends third-cousin's sister who dated the brother of a guy on his high school football team who saw his posting on Facebook. So I'm pretty sure it's a lock.

about a certain WR, nicely rated, wanting to commit to State yesterday but us not taking it, so he committed to Louisville. Looks like we're holding out for something.

wr from? I was told a couple months back by someone connected with the inner circle or cigar club or whatever you call it that Mullen has been taking karate lessons from the ninja himself when it comes to recruiting. Sorry for the vagueness. Ya'll can cuss me out all you want and tell me i'm a puss, but i'm going to wait and see what transpires b/t now and signing day and see if this information was even partially correct. I don't want to put myself out there like that and if it is true, i don't want to tip ninja mullen's (we'll see if he has attained ninja status) hand.

I was able to find that Corvin Lamb committed to Louisville yesterday and also had an offer from State. Going down the list of WR recruits with an offer, I see Madrecus Humphrey, Curtis Carter, and Vincent Sanders who have medium/high interest.

Yeah I saw a video on Vincent Sanders after the MS/AL all star game and he said we were still his frontrunner which is great news. Dan is seemingly starting to stock pile good receivers, we have a stable of young backs, a returning o-line...only question is at qb. Which can't get much worse from the dynamic duo Lee/Relf. I think we have good things to look forward to on offense next year.
