It won't be Oregon, they are playing a man's schedule in 2016. Virginia, at Nebraska, then their 9-game conference schedule.

Been some talk with BYU and with the league offices whether it would "count" as a Power 5 opponent...

I would rather it not be them, but we're running pretty short on options at this point...

just looking at schedules. Didn't realize they played 9 conference games though.

Based on some quick research...

These are the schools that currently have openings...

ACC – 4 Out of Conference games
· Boston College (UMass/@Northern Illinois/Buffalo)
· Wake Forest (Delaware/@Indiana/Tulane)
· North Carolina (@Illinois)
· Miami (FL) (Florida A&M/@Notre Dame/Florida Atlantic)

Big XII – 3 OOC games
· Texas Tech (Stephen F. Austin/@Arizona State)

Pac 12 – 3 OOC games
· Stanford (Rice/@Notre Dame)
· USC (Alabama @Jerry World/Notre Dame)

FBS Independents
· BYU (scheduled 9/12 games so far)

All B1G schools' schedules are already set for 2016.

Everyone touts Oregon's OOC schedule but their division sucks balls outside of Stanford. And even they kinda suck this year. Oregon NEEDS a tough OOC to compensate for their ****** division.

Yeah I feel you but it is so hard to really quantify. SOS can be flawed due to cannibalization of a division, as we see in the SECW. Ole Miss, LSU, Texas A&M and Auburn are all floundering due to losses, but they are all losses to each other. Truth be known, our SOS theoretically COULD be higher than it is, but we will never truly know.

BYU just reminds me of a couple of guys with white shirts and black pants riding bicycles, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'd rather it be Stanford or USC, but I don't think USC wants any part of two SEC teams. Miami would also be a good game. Their FR QB will be a Junior then.
