of the Sweet 16:

All 1's, 2's, and 3's are in.
2 of the 4's are there
a 5 seed (which is basically the same as a 4)
and a 12 seed

considering how much parity everyone thought there was this year. But there have really been no upsets this year involving the top seeds and there aren't many unexpected teams in the Sweet 16.

But there were three 5-12 upsets and one 4-13 upsets. I only picked one of the 5-12 upsets and I definitely picked the wrong 4-13 upset.

and so few actually happen. Hell, it even looked for a long while like we might finally have a 16-1 upset.

Last year we had 3 #1 seeds in the Final Four.
Friday night was great, OT and double OT going back and forth. Several high seeds getting scares, I think the tourney has been great this year... Still some games left too..

Since there were 4, that means that we had three #1s there, so Fishwater is right.

I actually thought when I was filling out my bracket that this was a boring year for college basketball in general, it seems like I didn't know as much about the top teams or sleepers, just didn't really have a good idea of how I thought it would play out. Just wasn't as interested in filling out my bracket as in years past.

But, I will say that I thought the tournament has been top notch, like always. It's amazing how I can sit and watch two teams play that I haven't seen all year and be that into it. You can just feel the electricity in a close tourney game, and it puts you on the edge of your seat.
There have been tons and tons of games that came down to the last possession, and it makes for great tv, even if you haven't seen a game all year. The tournament never fails to have that intrigue, and it really makes me wonder how university presidents don't see this and go to the same format in college football. The bowl season has become really boring to me, no drama except for the last game. Can you imagine a CFB playoff and the drama in that?
