Anybody else hear the report on Kyle Hann (Canadian baseball signee)....

that was on BSR from Matt Stevens? Sounds like we might have gotten a heck of a SS for the future. Apparently he is the highest rated HS player in Canada (that is a non-pitcher) from at least one service. Stevens made it sound like after talking to Cohen that maybe our staff was fine with trading DuPont going pro to get Hann. He had originally signed with Oklahoma State but was able to get a release after OSU made a baseball coaching change.

Had Jacob Robson ahead of him. But both are going to be good pick-ups for us. Hann will be in the mix at second base now, and he might be able to play SS if he is better defensively than Frazier, and then we might be able to move Frazier to second base.


By the way, I think Jacob Robson starts for us next year. I think it will be Renfroe, CT, and Robson right to left.

but he said he had offers (after getting released from OSU) from Arizona, UCLA and a number of SEC schools . Matt Stevens is usually pretty up on the baseball stuff so I take it that his info is true.

if this information is true. Todd, I guess it is possible that Hann is rated behind Robson on some lists b/c of his size and it's relationship to professional projections, maybe? I was bummed over losing the guy from Missouri, but feel better now.
