Not really, not wishing my life away.
I got baseball and summer and warm outdoor weather and then football in August. Basketball will be here before we know it though. It remains to be seen what the roster will even look like. It could be appealing or underwhelming. Who knows.

I've hit refresh so many times that I'm all out of the cereal, milk and the other emergency items.
I can't wait!! But, until then, there's bass to slay, and the Cubs to disappointment me. Plus I'm running the Indy 500 mini marathon and that chews up a lot of free time right now. Some aqaurium fish breeding projects will carry me to the season finally starting.
I'm really excited. The feeling I have is this will work. Sprinkle in that late '90's feel I have going and it's awesome. Pope is not just another ex-player given a shot at coaching his old school. That usually doesn't work out well. Pope is smart and can handle the administrative part which derails most of the ex players. He's got all the tools necessary for today's game at his disposal. His is family. He knows all about what it's like here, and he will embrace and relish that, not just tolerate it. He's garnered national respect for his cutting-edge offense. I'm am all in with this.
I am very much looking forward to basketball season. This is the first time I can say that in quite a while.
Let me see his Staff/Roster and then I'll decide whether I'm excited or waiting to see how he'll adjust to fix things in year 2.
How can anyone not be excited?? Forget the roster. It's the name on the front. Right folks? The program is no longer held hostage by Cal and his fake G League system.
Don't need to see a roster. Even if we suck year one I fully believe Pope will build us back from the mess Cal left.
