Anybody else not buying the Arkansas hype?

I think with Davis out they will have issues moving the football. Sure their new qb threw all over Auburn last year...but they didn't exactly have the best defense in the SEC.

I don't see Arkansas's defense as being any better this year either.

I know they are returning a number of WRs and a good portion of their defense, but they will certainly struggle to pass the ball if they can't run it well. I think they will go something like 7-5... but losing Mallette and Davis I think will hurt them a lot.

Just from preseason football, everybody can see just how goor Ryan Mallett is and was last year and without him last year they probably win 7-8 games. I personally think we will finish ahead of them in the West this year. Their defense didn't strike me as that great and too much lost production on offense. We will see soon.

They're putting a lot of pressure on this QB who has only taken a handful of SEC snaps. He looked pretty good against Auburn last year, but they were relatively easy to throw on.

If their run game stalls with the loss of Davis, that puts that much more pressure on the QB.

Depending on lsu's qb play, I think we have just as good a shot as anyone to be 2nd in the west aka 2nd in the sec, bcs bowl. This opinion might have something to do with the fact that I am coated in wool
