Par for the course with those homosexuals. Cohen has had his bad experiences in Oxford with the whole Forrest Moore situation with the attorney. You could tell that he was pissed in the post game interview.

I wonder if the Bear waving the broom is also their official scorer. In general the theme in Oxford is that anything we hit that is remotely near a glove is an automatic error if a Bulldog reaches base.
Parks had a very long hitting streak broken 2 years ago in Oxford on a ball that was absolutely smashed that the infielder did a great job just to knock it down. Didn't matter, Parks was at or near the top of the league in batting average and had a long hitting streak that needed to end.
I didn't see it, but it sounded like Renfro had a similar type at bat in game 1. I think it was in the 1st inning on Friday night right before the game was suspended. Bart kind of chuckled about the call while announcing the game.
And then when the tables are turned, we have plays like the error Frazier made in the 1st inning that was ruled a hit.
As for the realities of playing in Oxford, was it 2 or 4 years ago that Cohen had a subpeona served on him in pre-game.

it and he definitely sound pissed ha. I may have misunderstood, but I took it as he was just referring to the fan as a "black bear" and not someone (mascot) actually dressed as a bear. Again, I may have just misunderstood.

I'm sure you do not mean to offend, but please consider the fact that there are many of us Bulldog fans with gay and lesbian family members. There are also gay and lesbian Bulldogs fans that read this site. We do nothing but perpetuate stereotypes of Mississippi when we make disparaging remarks about a group of people. Remember....we're Mississippi State! Ole Miss does enough to perpetuate the stereotypes by continuing to call themselves the wife of a plantation owner who owned slaves. Let's continue to show that Mississippi State fans are better than that.

I make disparaging remarks about the group of people known as Bear fans every day. I have friends and family that have gone to Ole Miss. Stop the word policing. Austin Anderson is gay as hell. The solo cup races are gay.

Classic misunderstanding. Several members of the MSU team kept asking the bear to SLEEP together. Before yesterday the poor bear had never been exposed to the furry (i.e. plushophiliac) community. He's now in counseling.

The bear mascot was roaming around during BP and infield with a ratty old broom. I saw him sweeping the fake grass in front of our dug out. I don't think it happened during the game, but I could be wrong.

No college team's mascot should be on the field when the opposing team is on it. You don't see it in basketball or football. There are no sidelines in baseball....he belongs in the stands and can act as goofy as he likes.
