Anybody heard anything on Robert Elliot's knee?

It's 10 months later, he should be well and going hard in summer workouts.

For all the grief we get about lack of WR's, having Dixon and Elliot on the field at the same time would make us more dangerous. Elliot can line up in the slot and make it tough on LB's to cover him. Plus, he gives us a weapon on quick screens.

They had to stay on him so that he wouldn't over do it during spring training.

He looked fine on it in the spring. I'm pretty sure he can go full speed on it and make cuts by now.

Do you think Montrell Conner will have any impact on our running back depth chart for this season?

Not sure about his knee but the dude has packed on some serious lean muscle since the end of the season. In Nov. he looked like a wiry bean pole with a bit of muscle but now he has really filled out his frame and looks great. Under Balis I have noticed the same trend with a lot of our guys. While they didn't look bad before they look more streamlined now with more definition. Marcus Green is another good example. He's developing more mass in the right places while getting trimmer around the middle.

having an impact in 2009- he really needs to RS and work hard with Balis. If Dixon, Ducre, Stallworth, and Elliot can't get it done, I dont think its going to get done.

2. I think he was over-hyped as a recruit. His stats were pretty mediocre for a 2A school.
3. Orgeron had doubts about him being an SEC back per Meat Market.
