Did he not finish out the season? Were all big time offers solid in the end? I didn't see a lot of talk about him as crootin season wound down. Was wondering why. What's his status? Does he project as an early contributor? Strange to see such a high profile signee without much talk towards the end.

one of the best high school d linemen I've seen, big, quick and can run for his size. When he wanted it he was unblockable but he would take a few plays off then play a few plays. I know that he had a bad attitude and that he is not at Long Beach High as of now. He is in another school finishing high school.

at the recruiting party in Jackson.

He said sometimes when you are a big kid like that, you get misunderstood sometimes. Dan also said that he has done everything that we have asked of him and that when we were recruiting him, we talked a lot about discipline, and Dan said when we would talk about discipline, his eyes would light up. So, I think he is a guy that maybe hasn't had a lot of discipline in his life and that's something that he wants, and we're going to give that to him.

I think you didn't hear a lot about him because like all recruits that are solid, you don't hear about them as much at the end. It's just the nature of recruiting season.

I don't know. But that was what he said.

I do have more faith in Dan with discipline than I do with Stansbury at this point.

He has done everything asked of him and he is finishing up his schoolwork with good grades. He could be one of the best to ever put on a MSU uniform and he did take a few plays off in high school but with Wilson and the right strength and conditioning, he has tremendous potential. I think Quay ends up helping him and if we have enough line depth he can alternate and that helps him and MSU. Where the lawyer rumor comes from I have no idea because he is not in any trouble with the law as far as I know.

doing great on his academics and should be eligible first semester of summer school if he stays on his current path. I am also told that getting away from his<div>circle of friends has been an eye opening experience for him and that he has been a model citizen. The folks also tell me Nick has a great father that is</div><div>supporting the heck out of him through this process, I think Nick is going to be ok!</div>

Just that he has been so many times in the past, that it will be a miracle if he makes it. It certainly sounds like he is on the right track, so hopefully their opinions are wrong. Just passing on what I have heard, so spare me the closet webel Jortspage sunshine ********. I hope he makes it as much as anyone else.

He's been working hard and has done every single thing our staff has asked of him. I think it'll come down to his ACT score and I've been told he'sdoing well on practice tests. If he does as well on his real ACT, he'll be fine. I doubt he gets through for the first summer term, but that's just my thoughts on how the NCAA Clearinghouse works. I have very little confidence in them to do anything quickly for us.
