Nice to see you apply your posting sensibilities/logic to auto purchases as well.Just purchased it last monday...took it to my mechanic after the sale...stupid on my part i know....but he tells me the transfer case is bad...i am making the lot fix it....will fixing transfer case make it ride smoother...i like the truck other than the terrible noises it makes when you stop..also front end not alligned which causes terrible squeal in both front tires when you take corners
[jumpingsmile]I guess my concern is a bought this truck so my son would have a dependable first vehicle in a couple years....it has 130k miles on it...am i looking at constant problems with it...i have owned it for a week and its in the shop
What kind of shape is the body and interior? Is it a 1500/2500/3500? What motor? Sounds like you bought a piece of ****. I'll buy it from you much under market value and fix the issues.I guess my concern is a bought this truck so my son would have a dependable first vehicle in a couple years....it has 130k miles on it...am i looking at constant problems with it...i have owned it for a week and its in the shop
I haven't seen it, but you can guarantee the rocker panels are rusted. Even if it looks like it isn't, it is under the paint. What kind of shape is the body and interior? Is it a 1500/2500/3500? I can weld and do body work too. Makes it that much cheaper.I haven't seen it, but you can guarantee the rocker panels are rusted. Even if it looks like it isn't, it is under the paint.

Found a pic of the truck UMM bought. I wouldn't buy it.
More hits than misses. Lol.I can weld and do body work too. Makes it that much cheaper.
Those trucks are hit and miss with that. Regular cabs held up well though.
Does the transfer case clunk when you take off? It just needed a fluid change and it will stop.
Doesn't sound like a transfer case issue. Ball joints ok?It clunks when you come to complete stop...not normal
That sounds hot. When you change the u-joint, lube the spindle on the driveshaft. If it's too dry, it can make a noise starting and stopping.
