Glad you got it fixed. Did you say it had a popping noise when you cut the wheels? My sons '06 had the popping noise, the mechanic said it was pretty common in that model. Anyway, it's the steering shaft from the steering box up to the steering column. You can grease it and it helps for a while, he said it costs about $300 to change it.
